Mapambazuka

Mapambazuka Training Centre (MMM Ngaramtoni) was established in 1983 by The Medical Missionaries of Mary in Arusha. It is situated 12km from Arusha town on the main Namanga road opposite the police station.

The Centre's Objective:
Our objective is to build up the skills and capacity of grassroots development workers particularly health workers, in order that they utilize their own indigenous knowledge and natural resources in a sustainable and cost effective manner through good planning as well as implementing and evaluating their work.

 

 

 

 

MMM Ngaramtoni

MMM Ngaramtoni, a mission of The Medical Missionaries of Mary, are based in the foothills of Mt. Meru, approximately 12 Km from Arusha town in Ngaramtoni village. MMM Ngaramtoni or Mapambazuko Training Centre, as it is also known, has two primary objectives.

  • To provide training and development to build the skills & capacities of grassroots workers - in particular health care workers.
  • To provide local community support to the most vulnerable in society.

 

In addition to this, the MMM Ngaramtoni also have conference facilities for use, provide complimentary therapies, run different courses and support the needy in the community.

'Mapambazuko' means dawning of the sun. Our aim is to let it dawn on all people in terms of knowledge. Once one sees some light, one can build on that.
